Will and Katie got hitched this weekend! Here's a sneak peek of their oh so lovely wedding at the Santa Monica Beach Club. Congrats Will and Katie!

Engagement session at home with Will & Katie (and of course Kenzie!)

This weekend I get to photograph Will and Katie's wedding and I'm super excited. They are an adorable couple with a cute fuzzy four legged friend Kenzie. He tried to steal the spotlight during their engagement session I shot at their home and around their neighborhood. He succeeded in a few. Take a look.

Will is such a character. This is what happens at the tale end of a session when I ask the groom to look at his bride. :)

Christina + Kyle-Married

Hi All,
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Kyle and Christina's 1920's art deco inspired wedding. You may recognize them from their engagement session here. I met them thru 100LayerCake. If you don't know of 100LayerCake yet, it's a must. They have such an inspiring blog. They are one of my faves to read on a daily basis.
Kyle and Christina were married on a lovely day in May at the Acacia Mansion in Ojai. I loved all of the details at the wedding. The guests were all decked out in flapper dresses and fedoras. It was a fun wedding to say the least. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!

The talented couple designed the labels for their wedding favors.

Christina carried a feather fan instead of a traditional bouquet.

Her dress was stunning.

The light spilling in was incredible. 

I love first looks. Such a special moment in the couple's day.

The boys got ready at a ranch nearby. 

Each bridesmaid wore a different teal dress and carried feathers.

I loved that the guests really got into the wedding theme.

I stole them away for a few more intimate portraits. 

Which turned out to be when the horse made it's debut!

Christina's brother did a champagne sabering toast. It was a first for me and it was awesome!

There was a lot of dancing at this wedding including belly dancers. I don't think anyone left the dance floor, except maybe for more champagne.
